Theytriarch, the Divine Theminine voices the history of Transgender, two-spirit, and third-gender individuals. This play depicts their roles as integral parts of society and how that role often makes up the 3rd leg in domestic partnerships. Being a physical representation of the heavenly body, it also speaks to the supernatural abilities within that we have unlimited access to.

About This Project

The inception of this work was started in 2016 with the development of “Tech-No, Jesus” a commentary on religion and technological faith. Over the next three years, I developed two other works, “Querida” , my coming-of-age story accounting for my experiences in love and rebirth. Followed by “Beatitudes” a psychedelic journey for modern-day Beatniks and the seven beats that formed the Beatnik movement of the ’50s and birthed the Flower Child generation of the ’60s. These works formed the next foundational creations to usher me into new conversations about living a more rounded human experience. A year into the pandemic and from an intuitive impulse, I received the idea that the three works were incomplete as they needed an overarching piece to tie everything together, for at the base of my works was a clear through line of queer representation and connecting to spirit. Hince Theyriarch was received. Taking a look at how I and many others did not fit into, nor wanted to fit into, the matriarchal and patriarchal canon, this work gives voice to the many queers who have paved the way for/in queer history.

Theytriarch discusses the existence of transgender, two-spirit, and third-gender individuals and how they are direct images of “The Perfect One”/ God-Source; the paradox of faith, and how religion has been used as a tool to separate and ostracize; the radical metaphysical teaches that are at the root of all religious text. This work is a combination of oral history and sermon, offering an understanding of why we are here, the seven laws that govern the universe, the importance of Love and Mind working in tandem to create heaven on earth, and how all things are meant to be Easy, Harmonious, and Peaceful.

While I did seek to have this work be with a cast, it’s being performed as a solo as I will not have the funds I seek until two months after the show and I wish to compensate my collaborators in a timely manner. While this piece can work as a solo sharing, I know it would be more impactful with a full cast as various figures are being portrayed and choreographically, specific images work better with multiple bodies painting the picture. Contributing to this campaign will help me mount the full vision of Theytriarch again in the Summer of 2025. Your contributions will go towards properly compensating a full cast to bring this show to life as originally intended.

I have been a little hesitant about sharing this work as it revolves heavily around conversations on faith and the law of attraction/ gravitational pull, and I don’t want people to think I’m trying to sway them into certain ideologies. Over the years, my work has had a constant conversation about the sovereignty we hold as Human Beings, how everything is vibration and frequency, and how the universe is working in compliance with our focused thoughts and beliefs. My mission is to empower everyone from my personal accounts and generate work that offers reassurance to people in our current political climate. I ask that you consider supporting this important mission by making a contribution to Theytriarch through this campaign.
