Yes. 3Arts is a 501(c)3 organization and all contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Donors make contributions to 3Arts with recommendations to support projects. Once 1/3 of the funding goal has been reached through donor recommendations, 3Arts pledges 1/3 in the form of a matching grant. If the total funding goal is reached within the allotted time frame, all contributions, including the 3Arts match, are distributed. While 3Arts will give careful consideration to all donor recommendations, 3Arts is under no legal obligation to use your donation to fund any particular artist or project. All contributions to 3Arts help us fulfill our mission of advocating for Chicago-based women artists, artists of color, and artists with disabilities.

3Arts makes every effort to ensure the success of each artist’s project by pledging 1/3 of the goal, promoting through our communication channels, and providing considerable behind-the-scenes coaching and technical support. If a project fails to meet its funding goal through donor recommendations by the established deadline, then your contribution will be allocated to other 3Arts programs in fulfillment of our mission.

Donations to 3Arts are non-refundable.

If you prefer to send a check, please email mesha@3arts.org. Checks must be received at least three days before the campaign deadline.

The artist will send any rewards to you directly after the project is funded, and will reach out if they need any details from you. Make sure you supply your mailing address when prompted if there is something that needs to be shipped to you.
